The Running Gear

The running gear.

Every Ozimoto starts with the drive-train the industry doesn't build. Our chain-driven differential unit — a CNC-machined billet gearcase mated to an automotive-style differential and twin flanged half-shafts — is designed in-house and fabricated in Thailand.

It's why an Ozimoto tracks true through a corner instead of scrubbing its tyres like a locked-axle conversion. And it bolts on — to a big cruiser, a city scooter, or a ute tray.

The real hardware

Designed in-house. Built in Thailand.

Not a render — our actual differential drive unit on the bench. Chain input, billet gearcase, cast differential, twin flanged half-shafts.

How it works

Four parts. One advantage.

Chain-driven input

Takes drive straight from the donor's output sprocket. Matched ratios per platform.

CNC-machined billet gearcase

Two-piece machined aluminium case — precise, serviceable, and light.

Automotive-style differential

A real diff, cast and gusseted — both wheels driven, each at its own speed through a corner. No tyre scrub.

Twin flanged half-shafts

Bolt-on, replaceable axle stubs. Rebuildable in the field, not a throwaway.

Bolt-on applications

One drive-train. Three platforms.

BIG-BIKE TRIKES

Heavy Cruiser & Tourer

The full-size differential module for Harley, Honda and big-platform trike conversions — the drive behind the Heavyweight Cruiser.

SCOOTER TRIKES

City & Adaptive

A compact differential drive for Honda Click / ADV / Forza / PCX and Yamaha scooter conversions — stable, nimble, and adaptive-build ready.

UTE-TRAY & CAMPER

Overland Drive Bolt-On

The same running-gear discipline adapted as a powered drive/axle module for ute-tray and trailer builds — the bridge to the Overland camper line.
